In cross-x you should make your questions argumentative
Don’t say: Why you we cause inflation
Do say: If you’re not putting money into the economy, why does the AFF cause inflation?
Most arguments brought up in the debate will not be the deciding factor, focus your questions
If you know the other team will argue for concepts not on the 1AC, it’s important to question them in CX with the intention of learning what they will run in upcoming arguments
The block should always have topic and state good because it’s offence against the other team
If you can get them to agree with you in cross exams, it makes it much harder for them to impact turn your points.
They are really top heavy and rely a lot on ethos, however these often trade off for quality of the debate and line by line, it’s important to keep them in mind.
The NEG can argue the AFF should instead wait and run their arguments on the NEG because their kritiks don’t work as a plan on their own
The other team will be preempting you a lot, so it’s important to keep track of what the AFF is saying to answer, the key argument made in TVA is that the AFF needs a fair challenge, and if a topical version is not presented the judge should not vote on a worse version of the AFF.

The resolution is key for through examining of all sides of the topic, prep and judging are built around normal affirmative arguments, as such K-Affs throw it off.
